Uganda: The Youngest Country in the World
July 2013
(brief) "78% of Uganda's population is below 30 years old, making it the youngest country in the world. Experts on population control unanimously agree that this puts Uganda in an extremely worrying position, as the country's infrastructure is not stable enough to handle this large population's growth in future decades."
There is one key solution to reinforcing and growing Uganda's structure so that it can support this young population: educate the youth. Education will encourage, inspire and equip the youth to create a better life for themselves and those around them. Additionally, education is one of the only gifts you can give these children that, no matter what, can be lost by or stolen from them.
As CEI continues to develop our education programs to aid the youth in Uganda, you can join in this movement to educate and support children at a time when they need it the most.
