Two years old Sam is a healthy, playful, ambitious and caring boy. Together with his friends he enjoys running around the village and playing with empty tins at home. His father died of HIV and Sam now lives with his mother whom he loves dearly. Due to his mother's insufficient earning as a peasant farmer, Sam and his siblings cannot afford to go to school.
