Five-year-old Veronica loves singing and playing with empty tin cans. Together with her parents and her sister Veronica lives in Butiki Village, in Jinja eastern Uganda. Veronica has been privileged to attend school; Veronica dreams of getting a good education so she will be able to become a nurse. Her parent’s income of less than US $2 a day makes it difficult for Veronica to attend school and take care of the family’s daily needs.
